Our story
The magic of a place is linked to its history.
The one of Château Grand’Grange began in 1810 with the acquisition of land by a friend of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Then, in 1842, the castle and its outbuildings were built with the granite rocks of the region.
It is also a majestic barn of 60 meters long that will give the name of the domain. Now, it is the fermenting room.
In 2009, Per Hakon Schmidt and Marianne Philipp decided to be part of Château Grand’Grange’s history. Passionate about wine and French culture, they make every effort to restore this unique place and improve its vineyard.
